Futaba Manufacturing is a global leading automotive supplier with a reputation for engineering excellence and world-class efficiency. We are looking for Maintenance Engineers to join our team based in Burnley.

Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Section Leader,you will take responsibility & ownership for delivering a high quality engineering support to Production in the achievement of operational goals and targets. You will work to improve the performance of Equipment to deliver site efficiency and performance KPI’s. As part of the role you will be responsible for the following:

• Day to day upkeep of production equipment
• Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime
• Supporting implementation, commissioning & launch to new and refurbished equipment
• Understanding equipment faults and how to resolve
• Programme fault finding and modification via PLC
• Planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Read drawings electrical mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
• Implementing Quality countermeasures

Our roles that will be on a 2 weekly rotating shifts pattern of days (Mon - Thurs 07.00-15.30, Fri 07.00-12.00) and backs (Mon - Thurs 15.25-23.55, Fri 11.40-16.40).

The ideal candidate will have worked in manufacturing previously with experience of fast moving consumer goods and will hold either an Electrical Engineering Level 3 qualification OR a Btech HNC in Electrical OR a full engineering apprenticeship.
